Ronaldo , In 2014 UEFA Super Cup,  scored twice in Los Blancos’ first competitive game of the season against Sevilla in 2-0 win. After this Carlo Ancelotti announced that Ronaldo would do specific work in order to improve his condition.

CR7 won the 2013-14 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award on 28 August, 2014. CR7 returned to action in a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid on 13 September. During the match he played on the right wing and provided 10 crosses into the penalty box. He scored a hat-trick against Deportivo in 8-2 victory on 20 September. He scored his first goal at the Estadio Riazor. It was Ronaldo’s 20th La Liga hat-trick. Now he was two away from Alfredo Di Stefano and Telmo Zarra’s all time record of twenty two hat-tricks. He also equaled Lionel Messi’s record of hat-tricks away from home with seven hat-tricks. CR7 scored four goals three days later including two penalties in a 5-1 win over Elche. It was the 25th hat-trick for Real Madrid in all competitions. CR7 broke into the top 10 scorers in La Liga, with 186 goals in 169 La Liga matches.

CR7 scored another hat-trick on 5 October against Athletic Bilbao in a 5-0 win. After scoring 2 goals against Levante in a 5-0 victory, CR7 set a record scoring start in a Spanish League Season. He increased his league-leading tally to 10 goals in 8rounds despite missing one game due to an injury. Ronaldo scored the opening goal in a 3-0 victory over Liverpool on 22 October. He became the first player to score in ten consecutive Champion Leage away games and equlled Messi’s record of scoring in 22 different stadiums in Europe. During this season Ronaldo also broke the Real Madrid record set by Ference Puskas who scored thirteen times across seven successive league matches.

CR7 became the fastest player in La Liga history to score 200 goals when, in Ronaldo’s 178th La Liga game on December 6, 2014. He also scored a hat-trick against celta Vigo. Ronaldo’s 23rd hat-trick was also a La Liga record. Cristiano Ronaldo won the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup in Morocoo on December 20, 2014. He won the fourth title with Real Madrid. Ronaldo was awarded with Silver Ball as the second best player of the competition. He was behind his team mate Sergio Ramos.

He scored the opening goal in a 2-1 defeat against Valencia CF on 4 January 2015. He became Real Madrid’s highest scorer in away La Liga games with 88 goals in 91 Matches. CR7 won the 2014 FIFa Ballon d’Or on January 12, 2015. CR7 scored against Schalke 04 in a 2-0 Champions League win on 18 February 2015. During this he also became the top scorer in UEFA club competition with 78 goals. He also become the joint all time scorer in the UEFA Champions League alongside Messi with 75 goals.

CR7 scored five times in one game for the first time in his career on 5 April, 2015, including an 8 minute hat-trick. With scoring these goals, he equaled Alfredo Di Stefano’s record of twenty hat-tricks for Real Madrid. He scored his 300th goal for Real Madrid in a 2-0 win at Rayo Vallecano on 8 April. Ronaldo became the first player in the history of football to score fifty or more goals in a season on five occasions 10 days later. Ronaldo scored his 307th goal for Real Madrid from a penalty in a 1-1 home draw against Juventus on 13 May.

On 23 May, in Real Madrid’s final match of the season, he registered his 8th hat-trick of the season against Getfe to equal Messi’s all-time Spanish League record of hat-tricks in a single season. Ronaldo set a new personal best for goal in one seson with 61 improving on the 60 goals he scored in all competitions in the season 2011-12 with scoring these goals. He also bettered his personal figures in the domestic league by setting a new personal best of forty eight goals. With ten goals, Ronaldo was also the top-scorer in the UEFA Champions League for a third successive season. Unfortunately, Real Madrid’s season ended in disappointment.
